Training log for week ending 15th August

Well it was an eventful week (a week with an event in it…) with more good news today. After the results were posted on the TriathonSA website I discovered that the event was actually the Australian Nationals and that as a place getter I get immediate qualification into the National team for the 2011 ITU Duathlon World Championships in Spain! I could use a holiday so this may be the starting point of a few weeks eating and drinking my way around Spain!

Due to a race week the session times and quantity were down a little in preparation (and due to a Barossa trip on the Saturday).

So anyway this weeks totals (9 sessions + 1 race / 8h56m / 133.2km / 5525kcal)

  • Swim
    • 3 sessions / 2.5 hours / 7.5km
  • Ride
    • 2 rides / 2h1m / 49km
  • Run
    • 3 runs / 70mins / 22km
  • Race (Duathlon)
    • 10km (43min) / 40km (1h22m) / 5km (22min)
  • Stretching (extra)
    • 2 sessions / 60mins
